To get back into reading more often for 2014, I’m challenging myself to read a book that starts with each letter of the alphabet. Some of the 26 books have been sitting on our shelf for a while; some I’ve started a few times and can’t get into yet I want to check off my reading list; others I selected solely on filling a letter after a quick search on Goodreads… it’s turned out to be a fiction year. And I’ve decided I like a book in hand. Sorry, Kindle. The list:
A: Anna Karina
B: The Burglar Who Counted the Spoons
C: Catch-22
G: Gone Girl
I: In the Woods
J: Jane Eyre
L: Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls
M: Mr. Penumbra’s 24-hour Bookstore
Q: Quincunx
R: Roughing It
W: Where’d You Go, Bernadette (read)
X: X Marks the Spot: We’re all going to die! So… What’s for Lunch?
Y: You Come Too: Favorite Poems for Readers of All Ages
