Laine is five! For almost two months now… I’m a little behind updating around here. A brief summary before remembering in pictures: Laine woke up super excited. Birthdays are a big deal when you’re a kid. Low-key morning. It was hot. Jean came over to hang with the kiddos so I could head to Target to buy birthday presents (totally forgot to get some). Rushed home to get the big kiddos ready for swimming. Swimming. Rushed from swimming to the store to pick up cake. Rushed from the store to Chuck E. Cheese’s to meet Brian, Katherine, and Mike. Partied at Chuck E. Cheese’s. Went home for cake and presents. Happy birthday girl. Bedtime. And now, pictures.

It’s a thing around here to decorate the night before so the birthday kiddo walks down in the morning to birthday decor. Laine picked these decorations out herself… complete with baby shower colors. =)
