Evacuation Trail Hike

A new hike around the area every weekend. Our new plan. Today, the Evacuation Trail around the corner from our house. The big kiddos, Melvin, and I hiked it the week before. Brian and the little gals hadn’t gone yet. And we want to get Saige and Vaile used to the hiking backpacks, and hiking in general.

It was a success going as a family. Saige thinks she’s five and walked the entire way up. Well, we tried to put her in the hiking backpack but that only lasted about two minutes. Vaile was chill, as usual. The big kiddos took their backpacks filled with snacks and space to bring home discoveries. It was a nice kick-off to our new plan.
